SKYLEADER 150 SKYLEADER 150 is a two-seater, all-metal, low-wing construction with a direct wing and a standard placement of the engine. The aircraft has retractable tricycle landing gear with steerable nose wheel in standard. Fixed gear version is also available.
150 was the first produced SKYLEADER model, well-known around as Kappa Sova. Flight performances are perfect and lets you enjoy the fully reliability of this airplane.

The SKYLEADER 150 is designed for maximum flight enjoyment on cost-effective base.

It is a true "multi-role" aircraft, able to operate out of minimal landing strips of under 200 metres length but with the ability to cruise at high speeds (215 kph) thanks to its clean, aerodynamic lines. Standard fuel tanks are 2 x 32 litres, but many users prefer the 2 x 45 litre "extended range" tanks which allow a non-stop capability in excess of 1000 km. Its 10 meter wingspan with Fowler flaps give it outstanding low speed handling qualities down to 56 kph.

Thanks to its excellent standard of construction, the Skyleader airframe was chosen by the Turin Polytechnic University for its (zero emission) hydrogen fuel cell project, becoming the first aircraft to fly with such a power source. During these test flights, the aircraft established a number of world records for speed and autonomy, beating by a considerable margin the analogous project conducted by Boeing.
